Acts 17:10 KJV 1900
And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
Acts 17:11 KJV 1900
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Acts 17:12 KJV 1900
Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
2 Timothy 3:14 KJV 1900
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
2 Timothy 3:15 KJV 1900
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:16 KJV 1900
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 KJV 1900
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

74 It’s the Book of all the books. And all the other books run around through circles, not knowing where they are. And if they want facts, they have to come back to this Bible to get it. This is God’s Book, only Book. Now, how we praise the Lord for this great, marvelous Book! And in That contains the will of God, the promise of God. And It’s the Book of all the books. All other books fail, all the other books vanish away; their knowledge is gone. But this Book contains the Eternal Truths of God. Therefore, what the Bible says, you can say “amen” to It.     55-0403 - Fellowship By Redemption
How should we read the Bible?
Diligently
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV 1900
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
26 Marvelous, to study the Word of God! It gives us Eternal Life. Jesus said, “Search the Scriptures, for in Them you think you have Eternal Life. And They are They which testify of Me.” And how lovely to know that He has blessed us, to give us the living Word. God is in His Word.     55-0109M - Melchisedec, The Great Prince And King
72 Now, in order to study the Scripture, Paul told Timothy, “Study It, rightly dividing the Word of God, which is Truth.”
Them is three musts in the Scripture. In using God’s Word, there is three things that you must not do.
73 Now, you must not misinterpret the Word. You say, “Well, I believe It means this.” It means just what It says. It needs no interpreter. And you must not misplace the Word. And you must not dislocate the Word. And if we would do either of these, it throws the whole Bible in a confusion and in a chaos.
(Godhead)
75 And if you say that a certain thing, you put an interpretation on It, and you apply It to another time; or It’s been applied to another time, you also make an incorrect interpreting.
79 When, every Scripture in the Bible has the same application, you’ve got to set It in Its place. And to misplace It, you might make Him God in one age, and the next age you’d make Him a history, to misplace It. So you mustn’t misplace the Scripture. He is God all the time. If you made Him today a God of history, what was back yonder, and He isn’t the same today, what are you going to do with Hebrews 13:8? See, “He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
81 To dislocate the Scriptures, you might put His body together wrong, the foot where the head should be, or something. Just the same as a…Other words, you might have Jesus teaching Moses’ message. You might have…or even Wesley teaching Luther’s age. You might have now, our age, teaching Pentecost, the Pentecostal message. You see what a mess It would be in?
To the world, It’s a Book of mystery. The people believe It’s just a mysterious Book.
(Revelation)
91 But, while to the true believer, It’s the revelation of God being revealed in the age we’re living in. He said, “My Words are Spirit and Life.” Jesus said that. Again, “The Word is a Seed that a sower sowed.” We know that that’s true. It’s God in Word form, and can only be interpreted by Himself.
65-0822M - Christ Is Revealed In His Own Word
2. As a Love Letter
(Sarah’s body change)
165 Oh, brother, the Bible is just like a love letter. You have to read between the lines, see what It means. God said, “He hid It from the eyes of the wise and prudent, and revealed It to babes such as would learn.”
166 When I’m out in the missions, my wife writes me a letter. And I love her, and she loves me. And she say, “Dear Bill, tonight I just put the children to bed. I’ve worked today.” I see what she is reading, what she is writing. But, see, I so love her, I can read right between the lines. I know what she’s talking about. She don’t have to tell me. I know, ’cause I can read between the lines.
167 That’s the way it is with God, when not trying to study from some newspaper standpoint, some theological standpoint, but fall in love with Him. Get down and really get Him in your heart, “the love of God shed abroad in their heart by the Holy Ghost,” then go to reading the Bible and you’ll see It coming right out between the lines. See, you know what He is saying. He never said that right out in the Word. Jesus thanked the Father because that He had “hid those things from the eyes of the wise and prudent.” Now, no one else could read my wife’s letters like that, ’cause I love her that way, see, and that’s the way she writes to me. That’s the way God writes to you. It’s between the lines, you read It. 64-0404 - Jehovah-Jireh #3
(Read, don’t write)
9 The Urim Thummim has been done away with, ’cause that priesthood ended. But God’s Urim Thummim today is God’s Word. The Word is His Urim Thummim. Woe unto him that’ll add or take away anything from this Book. This is God’s eternal truth. And in the day where there’s people saying, “Oh, we don’t need the Bible. It’s been translated fifteen times or more; how do we know it’s right?” Till heavens and earth passed away, God’s Word will never pass away. Every doctrine and everything else of the Bible, that we have in the church, must be based upon the Word of God, must come from the Word. Not just one place, but from Genesis to Revelation it must say the same thing, ’cause we cannot base our thoughts upon one little Scripture. For the Bible said, “In the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established.”
10 You could take one Scripture, fix it around. I can say in the Scripture, “Judas hung himself. You go do likewise.” But that wouldn’t be rightly dividing the Scripture. See, that was pertaining to Judas and not to you.

“For a godly man, it should be as it was with Moses. When a godly man sees the Bible and secular data apparently at odds, well, he does as Moses did when he saw an Egyptian fighting an Israelite: he kills the Egyptian. He discounts the secular testimony, knowing God’s Word to be true. But when he sees an apparent inconsistency between two passages of Scripture, he does as Moses did when he found two Israelites quarreling: he tries to reconcile them. He says, ‘Aha, these are brethren, I must make peace between them.’ And that’s what the godly man does.”

William Bridge, Puritan Minister
3. Without Prejudice
2 Corinthians 3:14 KJV 1900
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:15 KJV 1900
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
If the first church ever started, the first church, any church, would say, “We believe this,” and end their doctrine with a comma, instead of a period, we…there’d never been nothing but one church. That’s all. See. “We believe this, plus as much as God will let us know otherwise.” But when we say, “We believe this, and this is it, and that is all”: then, we die right there, you see, because God is Eternal and He’s growing on.     64-0412 - A Court Trial

4. With the Holy Spirit
John 16:13 KJV 1900
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
1 Corinthians 2:6 KJV 1900
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1 Corinthians 2:7 KJV 1900
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1 Corinthians 2:8 KJV 1900
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV 1900
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:10 KJV 1900
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1 cor 2:11
1 Corinthians 2:11 KJV 1900
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:12 KJV 1900
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
26 You see, the Scripture is inspiration. You’ll never be able to know the Scripture just by setting down and reading It from a theological standpoint, from an educational standpoint; it never has worked.
27 I was speaking with a Baptist minister not long ago, he said, “Until we learn the correct Greek, until we…”
28 I said, “In the Nicaea Council, before that, they were arguing about the Greek words in the Bible.” You’ll never know It.
29 The Bible is to be revealed by inspiration. That’s the only thing, the revelation. Jesus told Peter, “Upon this rock.” This rock of revelation reveals Who He is. “Blessed art thou Simon, son of Jonas, flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father which is in Heaven has revealed this to you; upon this rock I’ll build My Church.” Not upon Peter, not upon Himself, but upon the spiritual revelation of Who He was.
30 And He is the Word! Saint John 1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.” Hebrews 13:8, “He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
65-1206 - Modern Events Are Made Clear By Prophecy
Conclusion
Luke 21:33 KJV 1900
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Matthew 5:18 KJV 1900
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
36 That Bible don’t produce everything It says It is, on every promise, I haven’t got any faith in It. But the very first Word that said, “Come unto Me all ye that labor and heavy laden,” when I tested it, it was truth. Then is This the Word or isn’t It the Word? If It’s the Word, It’s got to produce everything It promised. If it isn’t, then it…Which is right and which is wrong? It’s all God’s Word or, to me, none of it is. None or all, one. So I believe It, every precept, every line, every punctuation, every comma, every hyphen, I believe the whole thing to be the Word of God. Hang my soul upon It!     62-0218 - Perseverance
